We are the first company to ever successfully make a sunroof lid from carbon fiber. Our lid weighs 3 pounds and has 2 options: A street version will retains all the factory features of the lid and a race version lid which will allow you to remove the entire sunroof mechanism to decrease the weight of the top section of your 3 series bmw by 40-50 pounds. Whichever lid purchased will perform all of its normal functions, tilt and sliding back but will weigh 75% lighter. Billet aluminum mounting brackets with black anodized screws secure the lid safely to the original mounting hardware. The weight reduction in the top section of the car is very beneficial to the enthusiast because body roll will be reduced in the tight cornering often done in Auto Cross racing and Road Course Racing. Our Sunroof lid has been tested to 140 M.P.H. and has no problem keeping its light weight form at these speeds.

This item is a direct replacement piece, which will allow you to remove your 15 pound sunroof lid and replace it with the Riot Racing 3 pound lid. Weather you purchase the race version or the street version you will receive some of the finest quality carbon fiber products on the market
