Q 1. Why is there a wait to receive my big bore throttle
body?
A 1. There is a simple answer to this. We use three core
units that we bore and send out, when a customer takes time returning the core
unit it slows down the process of reboring the stock unit and sending it back
out to the waiting client.
Q 2. Why is the shipping cost so high, on such a lightweight
item?
A 2. We ship all of our products Fedex -3 day air, so
that the customer does not have to wait a long period of time to receive their
product.
Q 3. Why is the guarantee only applied to a Bosch dyno?
A 3. We were privileged enough to use a Bosch dyno for
an entire day and did all of our research and testing on the same dyno, therefore
we can not back up our gains on a different type of dyno because there are simply
too many variables from dyno to dyno.
Q 4. When will the OBDII big bore throttle body be ready?
A 4. When we have established a clear difference between
a ready product and a safe product.
Q 5. Why do I have a high idle after I have installed
my big bore throttle body?
A 5. There are many possibilities to this problem. The
first, sometimes during installation things break. Next, there is a possibility
that the idle settings are different from the stock throttle body to the big
bore throttle body(Check Settings Here). Finally, there
is a problem with the big bore throttle body, you can inspect the unit yourself
by holding the throttle body up to the light and checking to see if any light
shines through the small spacing between the throttle plate and the housing
inside the bore (a little is fine but there should not be a lot).
